Meet our school horses
The best way to learn to ride is on a safe and well trained horse appropriate for your level of riding. Graduate Riding School has horses for all levels, from those who'll quietly walk and trot around with a new rider to those who'll happily go on the bit and jump around a 3'+ course for riders who are more experienced.

Lissy:
A barn favourite, 2003 Lissy (Calista) is quiet enough for novice riders and athletic enough for the more experienced riders to enjoy. Lissy is a 15hh appendix who can jump a course and has done cross-country. She really enjoys jumping and will take her rider honestly from one side of the fence to the other. Lissy is currently learning basic level dressage.

Charlie:
Charlie is an exceptionally lovable 15.3hh, 1997 thoroughbred gelding who is very experienced. He's competed at Training level and done pony club events and testing. In dressage he is quiet and well trained; over fences he's eager with excellent form. Charlie is ridden by intermediate and advanced riders.
Athena:
Athena is a 16.2 hh, 1996, hannovarian mare. Athena has shown on the jumper and dressage circuits and will be eventing this summer. She has a huge stride, does dressage willingly and easily and loves to jump.
Jack:
Jack is a 2006, 16.2hh percheron/thoroughbred cross who will be eventing for the first time this summer. Jack has a huge trot and a canter so smooth you may as well be sitting on a couch. Jack's specialty is dressage. He is a real teddy-bear of a horse who loves attention. Jack's a little too fast and strong for beginners, but anybody intermediate plus will really enjoy him!
Bella:
Bella is a 2000, 14hh welsh cross who is an absolute superstar. Bella does all levels of lessons for smaller riders from first-time lunge lessons to upper level jumpers. Bella loves to jump and can easily jump a 3'6" course. She hacks out in a group or alone, has done cross country, and also knows basic dressage for those who ask her nicely :)
