This move offers us a private facility, large stalls for our horses' comfort, grass turnout paddocks, large indoor arena with good footing and mirrors, heated viewing lounge, outdoor sand dressage ring and grass jump ring, hacking fields, and room to build cross-country. August 2011

Lollipop Show

We had several competitors out to the juniour lollipop show on Aug 17. Paige, our youngest competitor, on Bella took FIRST in the walk/trot equitation class. Woohoo! Awesome job Paige. Following her, the girls took ribbons in almost every class they entered. Hailey and Bella were 2nd in Eq over fences and 4th in the medal class. Kennedy and Apollo walked away with a number of ribbons - including a 3rd over fences! Calean in her first off-property show did an awesome job with Nick completeing four classes and bringing home ribbons of a variety of colours. Great job girls! The full story is here.

GEC Hunter Show

We had an excellent turnout to the beginner hunter show at GEC this week. In the beginner junior division were:  Caelan and Nick, Emily and Bella, Kennedy and Apollo (his first hunter show *ever*!), and Olivia and Lissy. Emily and Nick competed in the beginner senior division. In 2'3" hunters we had Rowan and Jack (his first ever hunter show :) and Alex with Lissy. And in a last second addition, Hailey took Bella in the 2'6" division. All brought home ribbons - I think between them they took every colour out there. The full story is here.
