Client Testimonial
In my riding, there has been many an occasion where I've called on Lauren Cude for her insight. Whether it was input as to the best way to navigate Training level cross-country courses or tips to get more from my horse in dressage, she has never hesitated to help me out when I needed it. Her advice saw me safely cross the finish line of many horse trials, including the OHTA Championships held at Belvoir.

Competition
Discover what you can do!
Equestrian competition can be one of the most extraordinary experiences. And for those of us who have been doing it for years, it is, simply, what we live for. But for those who are new to it, it can be thoroughly intimidating and sometimes even overwhelming. Lauren specializes in introducing students to the first years of competition. She can make this the kind of experience that leads to a lifetime of involvement in the horse world.

How does she do it? Knowledge and preparation. When you know what to expect going in, it makes life significantly less intimidating. Lauren hosts a competitors' meeting each spring that will explain exactly what to expect and the variety of competition opportunities available. Students are also encouraged to participate as a volunteer at a show before competitng themselves.

Alternately, even if it's not your first year, if you're competing anywhere in the Pre-Entry to Training range and would like some help at the show when your usual coach is unavailable, Lauren is available to walk courses with you and help you warm up for your events.
Other competition options
Lauren attends most of the horse trials in Ontario either competing herself or coaching students in their competitive endeavors. For students not quite ready to event we attend the Touch N Go shows -- Lollipops for juniors and adult Wine and Cheese shows for all over 18. Lauren's students regularly place highly in their divisions and have a ton of fun doing so!
Graduate Riding School also strongly recommends cross-training. To this end we attend both jumper and dressage schooling and trillium shows to ensure well rounded riders.
