Client Testimonial
My daughter was having so much fun riding with Lauren that it encouraged me to start riding. Lauren's unique ability comes from her ability to make her lessons fun even as she is pushing you to new levels. Lauren Cude is constantly giving positive reinforcement, so that even while she is making corrections you feel a sense of accomplishment and the confidence to take on the next thing.

Adult Riders
Crazy schedule? Want some time away from the kids?
Whether you ride for pleasure or prefer competition, Graduate Riding School can help you achieve your goals. Lauren has many adult students (at one point all the way up to age 72!!!) and well understands the difficulties of scheduling in riding time around a busy schedule. Ride evenings, weekends, holidays, whatever time best suits you! Lauren is very good at adapting her lesson style to the preferred learning style of her student.

For those who wish to compete, Lauren attends most of the horse trials in Ontario and is available for coaching at any of them. She will help you prepare, is happy to arrange cross-country schooling, and will coach you at the actual event. We also occasionally attend schooling jumper and dressage shows -- including the casual and fun adult-only "wine and cheese" summer classes.
For those who wish to learn but prefer not to compete, Lauren will help you achieve your own personal goals at a rate that suits you. Come for the escape to the country, get some time to yourself, and a chance to focus on something entirely outside your usual sphere. Return home stronger and happier.
Re-Riders
Re-riders are a select group of adult riders who rode "once-upon-a- time", be it 5, 10, or 30 years ago and have decided to retake the sport of their youth.
Re-riders without fail approach the first few lessons with excitement, usually the odd *twinge* of nerves, and very happy. Then comes the tricky part -- they discover that their muscles don't work quite the way they once did and that what used to be so easy, suddenly seems very challenging. Lauren is very good at minimizing this natural frustration. She'll focus on your strengths, and help you to re-develop the skills that have been misplaced along the way.
For those who are a little more nervous, she is incredibly patient and will work with you at your own rate until the nerves go away and life is good. That day, you get to celebrate!
For those who are not the least bit nervous and determined to regain their skills rapidly, Lauren will challenge you to improve until you long surpass "what used to be". And when that day comes, you too get to celebrate! And then move on to what comes next!
Ride in private lessons or in a group with other adults -- whichever best suits you.
